Sahasrasheersha Devi Mandal female wing of Maharishi World Peace Movement, Bhopal chapter visited Cerebral Palsy Association of India, Bhopal on Wednesday 26 th June 2019 and distributed essentials to the children. This is another initiative of Sahasrasheersha Devi Mandal for social upliftment. Mrs.Manjusha Singh, Secretary, Cerebral Palsy Association of India welcomed all the members of Sahasrasheersha Devi Mandal. Smt.Manjusha Singh shared her experience about working with special children and activities conducted for them. There are near about 45 children from the age group of 13 to 25 years in Bhopal unit. Some children are with multiple disabilities. Smt.Reeta Prakasham, State President, MP and Dr.Geeta Narhari, Professor in Psychology were present and Dr.Geeta Narhari agreed to conduct a counseling session for parents and children on weekly basis. Smt.Arya Nandkumar, National Secretary-Communication gifted a book on Transcendental Meditation, a souvenir of Maharishi World Peace Movement and a book “Maharishi Aadarsh Bharat Abhiyan. She discussed about teaching Transcendental Meditation to mentally sound children and parents also. She discussed about the major requirements they need to educate the special children. Smt.Suman Yadav, District Secretary, Bhopal, Smt.Rekha Nimkar, Principal, MCEE and other members of Sahasrasheersha Devi Mandal were also present. Vote of thanks was given by Shri.Jaswant Rana, Branch Manager, Bhopal unit.
